Pure Racing are one of the hottest new teams to have emerged in Club100 racing in recent years. Formed over the 2011-2012 season, the team comprises Chris Bell, Jon Maycock and Jonny Goddard.
They made their debut in the 2012 premier endurance series and were immediately on the pace. It only took them a handful of races to get on the podium and, although a win eluded them, many more podiums would follow. 2013 got off to a cracking start with a win in the opening round. However, no one could match the dominance of Just So and the team had to settle for the runner up spot. With the withdrawal of Just So in 2014, Pure became one of the pre-season favourites. However, their progress was hampered as a result of Goddard missing a number of races and consequently having to scrabble around for reserve drivers or run as a two-man team.
It was a different story in 2015 as the team swept to the title, beating arch rivals Ministry of Speed. These two teams once again go head to head for the title in 2016 with Pure taking the early season advantage.
