Matt Hale’s Club100 career can be traced as far back as 1999. After going along to his local track at Rye House to see the karts and drivers in action, he soon embarked on a full campaign himself and raced for the next few seasons, the highlight being crowned 2006 Advance Leisure champion. Shortly afterwards, Matt took a sabbatical from karting in order to concentrate on other adventures, including getting married.
He returned a few years later in 2013 with his friend Barry Luetchford and the newly formed G3Pro - a team sponsored by the company he works for. A solid debut season in the rookie championship paved the way for more success in 2014 and he duly won the rookie title with G3Pro and then utterly dominated the intermediate championship the following season. Matt currently races in the Clubman series and is once again one of the leading drivers in that class.
